The Idea for TaxJoy
Bobby, a software engineer with seven years of experience and a former web designer for accounting firms, witnessed firsthand how outdated tax workflows bogged down CPA practices and frustrated clients at every turn. Endless manual data entry, error-prone document handling, and disjointed client communication were preventing efficiency and joy. Determined to fix this, Bobby quit his job, bet on himself, and founded TaxJoy with a singular mission: make taxes feel as easy as sending a text message.
In Phase 1, TaxJoy delivers an AI-powered platform that saves 30-60 minutes per client through automated client intake, intelligent document processing, and a customizable AI assistant all built on a secure, compliant foundation.
